I’m too excited for words. This looks really good. This looks amazing. Zac’s biceps are huge. Words can’t explain this…I’m just watching it over and over.

‘Camp Rock’ was great. I just finished watching it and I couldn’t be happier. This movie debuted two nights ago but I was on vacation and I couldn’t catch it until tonight, which turned out to be a blessing, otherwise this feeling I have right now would have been gone a long time ago and I still wouldn’t be enjoying the thrill of another Disney knockout. I guess most of my posts are about Disney but if they keep churning out quality pieces of film like this you can’t be angry.
‘Camp Rock’ is the story of high schooler Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) who attends the summer camp ‘Camp Rock’ and lies her way to popularity. Also at the camp is bad boy pop star Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) whose band mates Nate and Jason (Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas) send him back to the camp to be a counselor to get into good graces with the media. Meaghan Jette Martin plays the popular girl with an attitude Tess who shakes things up at the camp. With all that being said…
I was really surprised to see Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello doing a song together but after looking into it I saw that Morello enjoys doing folk music under another name so I guess that’s how they got hooked up. This video is over 8 minutes long but is definitely worth it. Morello really shows off his greatness on the guitar.
Also Tom was telling me about the new Weezer video for ‘Pork & Beans’ and it might be the best video of all-time. But I find myself saying that every time I see a Weezer video. Check it out.
The Mets and Yankees just wrapped up a short two game series in which the Mets took both from the Yanks. Friday Night’s game was postponed due to rain which brings up an interesting situation. The game has yet to be rescheduled. A lot of talk has been thrown around about a two-stadium double header during the next Subway Series at Shea, but with television contracts and prime-time scheduling issues it seems that it would have to happen on that Friday. I think this would be a mistake because the first game would have to be an afternoon game at 1pm which nobody would be able to see. On a hunch I checked out both teams schedules and it couldn’t have turned out better. September 11th is an off day for both teams which I believe is absolutely ridiculous. Moving this game to that day would be an unbelievable night for this area. And I think it is definitely plausible. The Mets play in Washington on the 10th and would probably be flying back to New York after the game anyway. The Yankees do play in Anaheim on the 10th but it is an afternoon game and they could definitely make it back that night around midnight local time, 1 or 2 at the latest. For both New York teams to be playing each other in this city on that night would be a classic night. Adding to it would be the late season aspect where the game will probably be very important to both teams who should be right in the thick of divisional races at that point. I think it’s perfect, I’m crossing my fingers.

As one of the resident comic/superhero experts on the blog I was really looking forward to seeing Iron Man. I can’t say I knew much about Iron Man except for the fact that he was a man named Tony Stark who used his knowledge of technology and weapons as well as his vast fortune to create body armor equipped with more weapons and gadgets you could ever dream of. (Remind you of anyone else?) He is part of the Avengers which is the Marvel equivalent of The Justice League. So I was really looking forward to finding out more about this character from the movie.
That’s me on the right there. Blogger Peter Duffy. On the left however is something you may not expect. It is a life-size stand-up cardboard cutout of Hannah Montana. I know. It’s ridiculous and wrong and probably illegal but it’s great to pretend she’s cooking or watching TV with me. I can talk to her about my problems and she always smiles and cheers me up. Guys, I took this one too far. But I can’t say I regret it.
I’m about 20 minutes late to work but I figured I’d post the link for the new trailer to ‘The Dark Knight.’

Update: The video has been removed from that site…you had your chance.

Last night me and fellow blogger Donald went to see the highly anticipated comedy ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall.’ The movie was hilarious as I expected and the cast seemed perfect. Jason Segel’s penis was pretty impressive, Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill once again gave classic comedic performances, and newcomer Russell Brand was great. Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis also delivered great performances as the leading ladies in the movie. Everything was good. I was thoroughly enjoying myself while watching the movie, but when it was over I asked myself one question…which girl should have went with?
