In my latest NCAA pool update, I said that it was possible for Pete to overcome his slump and conquer Glenn because of elevated point values in the later rounds. Well, that possibility has become a reality! As you can see, thanks to a strong performance in the last 2 rounds, Pete has made a startling comeback and overtook the second place position, previously occupied by now-leader Tom. As we approach the Final Four on Saturday, Pete does not have a chance to overtake Tom since they have the same picks. However, though both have Georgetown and Kansas in the finals, Tom made the mistake of picking Kansas to win it all and Pete did not. Given the point system, Pete will win it all if Georgetown wins the national championship. May the best bracket win!
